Fábrica de Tintas 2000, S.A was founded in August 1980, on Maia Industrial Area and since that time produces all kind of products for the Construction (Decorative Coatings), Metallomecanics and Furniture Industry. Grew and always presented throughout these decades positive and consolidate results.
In 1994 creates Ambrósio & Filha, an associated company, and in 2006 has acquired 100% capital of Tintas Marilina, S.A., composing Grupo 2000.
Today, Fábrica de Tintas 2000, S.A. has more than 200 employees and a producing capacity exceeding the 15.000 tons / year. The company is among the six largest manufacturers of paints and varnishes in Portugal, in an estimated universe of 180 producers.
The Innovation team of R & D is composed of 16 skilled technicians and the investment has been strongly intensified in the recent years, with excellent results in developing new products and optimizing the products and formulations in order to achieve a better response to the market demands. It is a certified company, since 1995, with the NP EN ISO 9001/2015 and is headed for environmental certification.
