The Fábrica de Tintas 2000, S.A., was founded in 1980 at Zona Industrial da Maia, where its maintaining the head office of the company and where it produces, sells and distributes a range of products targeted for the Civil Construction,Furniture Industry and Metallomechanics and has always submitted a consolidated business growth and positive results.
In 1994 was founded the company Ambrósio &Filha, Lda., focused on the commercialization and technical assistance on the furniture industry. Is a company with strong products and technicians in furniture finishes.

With the goal of growing and in order to achieve a larger market share, Tintas 2000 SA, bought Tintas Marilina in 2006. The company CEO Mr. António Ambrósio, began his professional activity at Tintas Marilina, which as contributed decisively to a successful career in the field of paints and varnishes. The combination of these companies combines the strength of a young and dynamic team with the experience and reputation of a company with 85 years of activity.

The path has always been growing over the last 10 years the turnover grew by more than 85% and the Group in 2000 is now represented throughout the country.

In 2017, the Grupo Tintas 2000 acquired Norticor, the exclusive representative of the renowned Italian brand Sirca, used in the on wooden furniture finishing.

At the distribution level the Grupo Tintas 2000 works with numerous agents and resellers and has a network of 33 stores in all regions of the country, from Trás-os-Montes to Algarve, in Albufeira, Almada, Almancil (two stores), Braga, Barcelos, Caldas da Rainha, Cascais, Estoril, Faro, Famalicão, Grândola, Guimarães, Lisboa, Maia (three stores), Mealhada, Mangualde, Mira, Palmeira, Rebordosa, Rio Tinto, Santarém, Santiago do Cacém, Santo André, Tavira, Tomar, Tondela, Valpaços, Vermoim, Vila Franca de Xira and Vila Real and has a team of almost 200 employees trained and available to serve our customers.
